friendliness

this post is in honor of my friend casey who has the sweetest tenderest heart and warmest hugs...
we spent a cold drizzly sunday afternoon cuddled on the couch under an afghan and i was encouraged by her honesty and vulnerability. i've noticed that when two people are discouraged together and talk about it, that can be the most encouraging thing, even if there's no grand resolution of the discouragement.
