trinity is getting so big and chubby and smiley!! i love this stage of baby-hood. they're no longer infants but they're not yet toddlers. still very much the cheek-pinching cute baby stage. and boy, howdy, is she ever cute!!

brayden had fun blowing bubbles with nick.

he's definitely come into his happy phase also! he used to be a VERY serious little guy, but now he's just as smiley as his sister, and hyper enough to bounce off the walls sometimes. i loved seeing him in this stage he's in. very smart cookie, that one.

then on saturday we had our yard sale to end all yard sales! it was massive!
after selling this disco ball, i kept having seller's remorse and thinking of all the cool times that could have been had with it. even just sitting in the living room, it lit up the walls!
oh well. someone else is enjoying it now.

between 6 of us, we made around $850 selling our junk!!! isn't that amazing?! i made the largest chunk of that (having the largest chunk of junk, of course).

it was a perfect day for a yard sale -- we had a blast. some of us even got sunburns!
it was definitely the hardest i've worked on a weekend in a while, but it was worth it. now i get to have that rewarding feeling of looking around my house and truly loving each item left in it.

we sold pretty much everything, but what was left over made it's merry way over to the nearest thrift store. it was very cathartic. the main lesson i learned from this yard sale is to think long and hard before buying something. a $10 item at wal-mart could easily make it's way onto the 50 cent table at the next yard sale. is it really something worth spending the money on?

nick turned his wii fund can into the honeymoon fund can. his priorities are changing :-)

our mascot parrot even found a home eventually.
stay tuned for a post-wedding yard sale! maybe toward the end of summer we'll get together all the things that we have doubles of (t.v., t.v. table, etc.) and make some more mula.
purging oneself of material goods is a good feeling.

YAY for garage sales? Is Dave Ramsey imspiring you? We participated in 10 days of garage sales last summer to make some extra cash to help pay down debt.
Hope all the wedding planning is coming along nicely. Again - let me know if there's anything I can do to help! I'm soooo excited for you!
I love the green! And way to go on the yard sale...some serious cash.
