nick's gotten me into woodburning lately, and i have to say, i'm really enjoying it! it's pretty much like drawing, but with a really hot 'pencil'... i've accidentally burned off several new layers into my hair from forgetting how hot it is and waving it around thoughtlessly.

Kate, those burnings are beautiful. You never cease to amaze me.
She's right! They are beautiful. You just get better and better. So have you ought any more about putting 2 of them together with cool paper in between making journals or address books or whatever and selling them in Nick's corner? Y'all could make a mint!
Hmmm...while you're in this flower phase, you could paint me something to hang above my couch. If not, no worries. I can always spend $100 at Target for something unoriginal, and hanging in 100 other homes, instead of getting that personal touch from a dear, dear friend and artist.
