as i mentioned, nick and i went on our first double date this last weekend! i'm not sure what the significance of such a step might be, but it seems to be something noteworthy. if no other reason than that it was some good ole fashioned quality time with tim and jen. we had some indecision about what to do with ourselves at first, but we figured it out and ended up at a place called loving's. we played some fooseball, a game of pool (with the boys doing their duty in teaching us the moves -- nick is a real pool shark, i tell you what), then we finished off with some smoothies and 'apples to apples' which caused much hilarity.
i especially enjoyed hanging out with jen. she's a very sweet girl.
after we drove back home we decided the dark parking lot was the perfect place for some pictures (only makes sense...)
i don't know what this first one is all about... we look very frightened. screaming in terror even.
oh, there we are -- normal happy people.
i look forward to many such fun adventures.

nicholas, i think your mouth was moving at the speed of light which caused a little blur action... don't worry, you're not genetically malformed -- and i must disagree with anonymous -- nick does in fact look genetically malformed despite the actual reality of his ungenetically unmalformedness and therefore definitely unkissable. i think i'm going to disable anonymous comments -- the mystery is killing me.

Hmmm...I think the mystery person could be you, Kate. It's just like one of those movies where the host of the murder weekend in the mansion is really the murderer the whole time. Hmmmm...
I think the anonymous comment is hilarious and you should leave it on! I like how your date was good old fashion fun. None of this bar scene business.
