we had some really great discussions about compassion (being willing to involve yourself emotionally in a situation) and comfort (god helping us out). mostly i just love people sharing where they're at right now and where god is with them in it all. there really is something powerful about testimony.
now we just need to combine the good shots of each person from the group pictures to make one great group picture!
it's funny how there's always someone who looks less than good, no matter how many times you try :-)

Wow, reminds me of a wild bunch of us that used to go to church in Oak Ridge, TN when we all worked summer interships there. Where are they now...?

well, not to mention any names, but in the top group shot, nate looks very much like a devil boy... and in the bottom one, i look very strange...
